List of Qualifications that make up the A1 IESOL Diploma

 

9993-71   City & Guilds Entry Level 1 Diploma in ESOL International Speaking and Listening Preliminary (A1)
This qualification can be achieved upon successful completion of the following two qualifications:
- City & Guilds Entry Level 1 Certificate in ESOL International - Listening Preliminary (Entry 1) (A1) (8961-71)
- City & Guilds Entry Level 1 Certificate in ESOL International (Spoken) Preliminary (A1) (8985-71).

8961-71  City & Guilds Entry Level 1 Certificate in ESOL International - Listening Preliminary (Entry 1) (A1)
This examination offers a communicative approach to the testing of listening at Preliminary level (A1) level.  It follows the same structure as the listening part of the International ESOL examination (8984-01).

8985-71  City & Guilds Entry Level 1 Certificate in ESOL International (Spoken) Preliminary (A1)
This examination is a separately administered spoken examination at A1 level.  It is the first level of the International Spoken ESOL range.   Please note that a separate qualification handbook is available for International Spoken ESOL qualification.
